The history of carousel

Carousel also is called roundabout in British. In the 19th century Europe, it was popular to put a wooden swing chair outside shops to attract customers. Sure enough, the origins of many beautiful things are simple, for earning money. 

But there are some smart people, they held up the wooden horse chair by wooden frame. Of course, this original carousels cant run by themself. So the shopkeepers always hired or bought a horse to pull it, sometimes they will hire a man to do this job. It costed much.

Thanks to the great James Watt, our world has steam engine. Carousel also began to update. The modern defined carousel was coming out. They used the steam engine as heart. The white steam was exhaled by steam engine make the colorful carousel looks like in the sky with clouds. How beautiful it is.
